Stories from Rasamala

Last week Pandu (as in Pandu the husband) offered me my own dotcom-blog

I gleefully said yes, haha

But then I wonder, what’s a blog for me? Especially when I have to choose between free weblogging hosts I had (yes past tense, hihi) and the one that require some amount of money to subscribe.

For me a blog is:

• A place where I can release my stress at the office (it’s proven effective so far, LOL). E.g. after swamped from a hectic day, I usually write something before I went home. I feel a lot more relaxed afterwards. Fyi I rarely (if not, never) talks about my work. Why would I want to talk about work when my blog is supposed to be my escape?
• Deep inside I want to be a writer, yea I do. It’s just that I know I don’t know how to write. Therefore, I want to learn how to tell story. How to tell even crappy experience into entertaining story. And blog is the only space I know where to practice. I know I still have ayyyy-lot to learn that’s why I want to write more and more, it has to improve at some point right? haha
• My legacy. My current trending topics (as what they say in Twitter :p) is Nara. My world revolves around him. Could you blame a mother who’s crazy about his son? Anyway, I wish that when he grows up, he will be able to read what I write about him, about me, Ayah and us and how much we want only the best for him.

So with compliments to Ayah Nara who bought me a domain and Amir (plus Anggi off course) who guided me in setting up the blog step by step, here it goes my first post. I’m gonna write in bahasa, or in English according to my mood, hehe. Like I’ve said in my previous blog, I really want to have sophisticated English so feel free to correct my grammar. Enlighten me

Don’t expect anything spectacular here, you’ll end up disappointed, hihi

I just wanna tell tales and learn how to share it eloquently  :)
